Drawing Tools Recommendation

I personally love reading about what pens, sketchbooks, tablets, etc. my role models use to draw their illustrations. That's why I thought about showing my art tools as well, maybe it will help someone who is looking for a suitable pen or wants to start digital drawing themselves.

I'm still learning how to use this pen, but I love the wide variety of strokes I can create with this brush pen

This Brush is always filled with water, so that i can quickly color a drawing with watercolors.

Yellow pencil on a wooden table with a green leaf.

Caran d'Ache Yellow

I use it to sketch before I draw in ink. The brightness of the lines allows the ink to stand out better. I can also remove the sketch better digitally.

A blank spiral-bound notebook on a wooden table next to a green leaf.

BAM4U Sketchbook

This sketchbook is great for including a little watercolor too. Sometimes it draws up too much ink, which then makes the lines thicker than I want. However, I am very happy with it, also because it is ring-bound.

Daler Rowney Aquafine

It’s my current watercolor set. Is highly recommended as a travel set. I'm also a fan of the strong colors. A great starter set.

Is malleable and therefore very universally applicable.

Tablet with abstract purple and blue swirling pattern on screen, silver-colored casing, and a visible camera lens.

Apple IPad Air

Slightly smaller screen, but cheaper than the Pro Version. It has always been my drawing tablet. It's absolutely sufficient and I've never had any performance problems.

Apple Pencil 2nd generation, white, isolated on white background.

Apple Pencil 2nd Generation

Combined with the iPad, everything I need to draw for hours. I've never had the pen's battery run out.

Procreate

My absolute favorite drawing software. Has everything I need. I only use another software for the final finish.
